Include/exclude waypoints from the route guidance

This feature is useful if you want to add alternative camping sites, parking spaces, or excursion destinations to your route but do not want them to be considered in the route guidance.

Open your route in edit mode and switch to the "Route" tab.

To exclude a waypoint from the route guidance, click on the three small dots next to the name of the waypoint.

Select "Detach waypoint" in the menu that opens.

To include a waypoint back into the route guidance, click on the three small dots again and select "Attach waypoint."
