How does navigation work with a map app?

• Open your planned route in the FREEONTOUR app and select the waypoint you want to go to next by clicking on the three points to the right of the waypoint.
• Then select "Open with map app". This will send the waypoint data to the map app (e.g. Google Maps) installed on your mobile device.
• Now click on "Route" and set your starting point.
• Then you can start your route.

Please note that you have to be online for this and that data volume is consumed accordingly. Please also note that you can only transfer individual waypoints from your route planning to your map app with this option.
