How does my route account for seasonal road closures?

In order for the Freeontour route planner to take seasonal road closures into account when routing, you must specify the travel period when planning the route.

1. Choose the tab "Route".
2. Open "Route settings". 
   
   
   
   
   
3. Click on "Departure".
   
   
   
   
4. Enter your date of departure.
   
   
   
   
5. Enter your date of arrival back home. 
    
   
   
   
   
   

Note! You can use the "private/public" selection button to set whether other Freeontour members can see your travel date on a published route.
